Rainy Day in the Forest
We started the day out in the Makerspace today because it was forecasted to be rainy. Mr. Koski had collected walking sticks for us, so many of us chose to paint them in cool colors. Other forest kids decided to build more boats and made changes from their designs last week to create a new an improved boat. It was so fun watching the kids apply what they learned during our boat races to make some amazing boats!
Ms. Swallowtail made us amazing banana bread and we also got to drink hot chocolate too! Yum! We only had a short time to be in the woods today, as we needed to go in early to practice for our Memorial Day concert. The day flew by and at the end we were all wanting MORE time! We all can't wait for next Friday!.
