Boat Building
The Forest Kids had a blast in the forest today. Last week, we had experimented with different natural materials to determine which sank and/or floated. The kids collected various materials and we went to the Makerspace before heading out in the forest to create boats! We were lucky to have so many volunteers! Big shout out to Mrs. Woodpecker, Ms. Moose, and Mr. and Mrs. Raccoon! We lucked out and had a beautiful sunny day! We even got to eat lunch in the forest, which hasn't happened since December! We had so much fun that we decided to take what we learned about our boats and create even better ones for next time!
